Let’s dig into “How Often You Should Wax in summer”

YOU SHOULD WAX EVERY 3-4 WEEKS

We recommend you book an appointment every 3-4 weeks for waxing service. It totally depends on the area to be waxed and how fast your hair grows and how thick.

For instance, hairs on your underarm or your pubic hair might grow thicker than the areas like hands or legs. So make sure to grow it longer than ¼ inches in order to pull it out successfully from the root.

You might have to wait if for a longer period of time like 5-6 weeks if your hair growth is slow. However, you can expect your hair to take 4 weeks to re-grow back to ¼ inch.

It is possible to wax when your hair is long and If You have an emergency then you can trim the hair or you can ask your technician to do this for you, they would know how much hair to cut off.

DON’T DO IT TOO OFTEN (A QUARTER OF AN INCH)

Do not remove your hair two weeks before your summer waxing appointment and make sure it reaches an optimal length. If Your hair is too short, the wax won’t be able to pull it out and if it is too long it will be very painful and it might break hair in half and can cause irritation or ingrown hairs.

Be consistent with your appointments, in order to make the most out of your sessions, don’t wait for too long or too soon. The bottom line is to grow your hair at least ¼ inch long or ½ inch long

DEPENDS ON YOUR BODY AND THE AREA YOU’D LIKE TO WAX

As we discussed in order to get waxed less painfully and get smooth and soft skin your hair length should be ¼ inch and ½ inch. Waxing isn’t really one process that works for different areas of your body.

Face, legs, Underarms, bikini – All parts of your have their own Dos and Don’ts.

Let’s Discuss the guidelines for how often you should wax different parts of your body.

Face

You should wax your face every 2-3 weeks, hair grows quicker on your face , upper lips , brows and chin than rest of your body. And when it comes to face everyone wants to avoid thicker hair , be consistent and you will notice that your hair will grow thinner. Follow the guidelines and feel your silky smooth skin after waxing sessions.

Underarms

When hair grows in this area it is noticeable, you should wax your underarms every 2 weeks. Skip the deodorant and lightly exfoliate the area one day before your appointment. Always finish by applying some good lotion or serum to prevent ingrown hairs and avoid irritation.

The Legs

Always depends on how fast your hair grows, it can take months for re-growth or 2 weeks. Usually, Legs can go 3-5 weeks between sessions. Regular Waxing eventually reduces hair growth.

Bikini Area or full-on Brazilian

For the Bikini line, it will take 2 weeks and for a full bikini or Brazilian service we recommend you to come in every 3-5 weeks. Maintain hair growth by waxing on scheduled sessions, in this way hair won’t grow back thicker. let your hair grow to the length of an eyelash before scheduling your appointment.

This will allow waxing to pull off all the hairs without patchiness. Avoid shaving between waxes, do not be too harsh on your skin after the wax, gently exfoliate your bikini area regularly it will help remove dead skin and prevent ingrown hairs.

Always schedule 2-3 days prior to hitting the beach or pool, sauna, or hot pool, and stay out of the sun, it can cause irritation or reaction.

Eyebrows

Most important feature . For eyebrows you should schedule once every 2 weeks. But it really depends on the person. Stick to schedule otherwise, strands will end up in different patterns. Keep your brows healthy by applying some eye specific cream to hydrate this area, skip the tweezers away.

Conclusion

Timing is very important for hair growth. ¼ inch is a good marker, you can book an appointment. In this Scorching hot summer, we get more waxing sessions and some of our clients are unaware that how often they should wax in summer because who doesn’t want to enjoy a great beach day with smooth and clean skin.

It is important that you have to be specific about how long it has been since you last booked your appointment we suggest the longer the better it will help us to provide better waxing service. If you wax 1 week after your last session some of them are left behind during waxing because of the length so always remember length should be ½ or ¼ inch long, this is like a golden rule.

And one more thing be consistent with waxing, you will notice a big change like your hair growing back thinner and it weakens the hair follicles and will produce fewer hairs so just be regular, try to stay in waxes.

This will help to extend the time you go between waxes.
